I hope you hit your goal, but you'll be lucky to hit 230whp with those mods.

Also, when you do the 3" exhaust, it might be a good idea to add a resonator or 2. It's not going to cost you any power and it'll prevent your car from sounding like a 93 Civic DX with the muffler cut off.

Awesome man! Light chassis plus f20 equals win. good luck on the build!

GrandmasterKahn is just speaking from experience on your 240whp goal. Alot of us have been down the road I bought all the best mods and matched them up and achieved over 230. The hp per dollar didnt make sense. I LITERALLY sold my NA bolt ons and bought a used Greddy kit and its a huge difference. Considering you can find a greddy kit for 2400 bucks now doesnt make sense to spend money on bolt ons anymore. Just my opinion of course!

totally agree with you guys
its just that ive never done a N/A build before i ve always gone FI and when i first drove my car after the swap i was so impress with how great 200whp felt from a NA
its a killer for my brothers stock evo IX
he's about to do some mods to his evo and if he get an added 100hp ill need at least 50hp to keep up so im considering a 75shot also

75 shot would be perfect. but i think its achievable. i know the dyno i went to reads a little high but i put dwn great numbers for my setup. 240whp will be tough to get. you just need the right conjunction of parts.

Unless your wanting to roast your tires all the time I would advise against the greddy kit. It makes killer tq down low, which on a graver s2k = easy wheel spin. In your lighter ae86 you'll have traction problems big time. I'd recommend a s/c or higher rpm turbo setup for better driveabilty.

If your looking for that little extra kick and you want to stick with NA then my recommendation is to go with ITBs. They make killer midrange power on the f20c. Of course you'll need engine management and serious tuning so in the long run FI will be cheaper but you'll have to balance power with traction becaus of your cars weight

question...
i have a pair of skunk2 stg 2 cams.... not installed as yet
i hear people say these cause chain slap...does anyone hav experience with them?
im waiting on getting an ems before i install them.... n im buying a pair of toda gears too hopefully this can help to get the effect off the "i-vtec" not literally but by advancing the intake ill get top end n messing with the exhaust i can pick up back the mid n low end
i already ordered the 70mm TB
next weekend im gonna port my next manifold to match

im gonna try an make a moderate extrapolation
ok so im at 202whp completely stock
generally aem ems tuning give about 10-20whp
so lets say id now be at 212whp...
exhaust will giv me another 5-8whp
so by this i should be at least 217whp
intake and 70mm TB with ported manifold 3-6whp
by this i should be at minimum 220whp
skunk2 cams 5-10whp puts me at 225whp
toda cam gears 4-7whp puts me at 229whp

so my gains can possibly range between 27-41whp
229hp - 243whp
am i crazy for assuming this much power?
