Haha
Hey this is my car, that you posted on here. Im sitting reading the thread and I see the video of my car....thats funny.

Its an AE88 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S w/ F20C swap
207whp
Built by Andres at RAW RACING in Florida

In the video the car has 22" slicks and wet shot of NOS make 280whp

If you want to make more power definitely start by taking out the junk stock ecu and putting in a AME AMS ECU. It makes a huge difference. Vtec Crosses over much faster and harder. Plus you need a good standalone ecu to tune off of. Then just do cams and jenvey itbs. Thats what im doing right now.

Stock GTS rearend?

Ok. I was thinking how much longer that diff is going to last especially with slicks!

ill be having some great updates comin in by 2moro..... finally got some time and decide to take my car back to the dyno to install the EMS n tune.... unfortunately the tune was hindered by a few electrical hiccups from a bent pin in the EMS that jus was makin contact so a few sensors were not workin took a few our to check and trace but eventually got it started but didnt make a pass with the ems... however... the fuel pump was changed since my 201 first baseline pulls from walbro 255 to a now stock Evo IX pump taking away some of that added fuel so jus with more stable AFR the car made a 205hp 138tq with the same stock setup today only less fuel pressure and my plans to redo my exhaust will certainly be the next step.... i spoke to the specialist today while at the shop n he gave me some brite ideas...first removing the 57mm resonator getting a 75mm(3") resonator with full 3" exhaust n removing the resonator further away from the header..... n trust me this guys knows his sh!t today he tuned a dc5 type R k20 from 207 I/E/H 70mm TB to 247whp so i was telling him im not quite fussy about my peak but i want mid range power....but he's telling me he's pull 220 from my motor...JDM all the way

will post phone pix of screen shots of dyno pulls later....
peaked at 213hp 139tq
but problems that left me disappointed in the long term....
i can not get any more power in the mid range....
only at 5900 there is a 9hp 3tq increase and everywhere else its pretty much stays level with the baseline pull....
ive adjusted the vtec points at 100rpm intervals from 3800 to 6100 and nothing helped
its currently running at 4800 where its still suck but best of all i tried....
its spikes after 4800 but flat line running in sync with base @ 5200 until 5700 it gains as much as 10hp above baseline n keeps up until 8800
ive tried adding ignition to the max until there was knock no gain.... i took out timing it falls...... steady 13.5 AFR rite thru the pulls..... i added fuel nothing.....

HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!

most if not all have heard the relationship btwn injector duty vs torque and pulse width vs HP

well as i am about to recover alot of lost power due to crappy exhaust i did an analysis of how my engine has been choking with this exhaust....
generally ud think with activation of vtec n the engine demand more air, u will need more fuel to maximize the power efficiency of the engine.....
well in this case u wud think my vtec activation was switchin to a smaller lobe bcuz i had to be taking out crazy fuel after vtec to maintain a moderate 12.8 afr....
at first it puzzled my mind y???
but if im taking in air n cant get it out efficiently then im losing power....
so here is my fuel map to show the difference in efficiency of a good exhaust vs bad exhaust
arrow indicating vtec point of engagement
bad

comparison btwn base n ems tune.... exhaust tune will be added in about 2 weeks but im looking for more power especially in mid range

Im currently doing the same setup... f20c in AE86...Im so curious about this!!! how does the car feels? must be amazing. I bought AEM EMS, did some homemade Itb's out off hayabusa ones... few exhaust mods and lots of work on the chassis, suspension and brakes. Im getting done by the beggining of summer, so I'll post my dyno graph in here...

Engine internals are bone stock, I'm currently working a grounding systems for each coil-plugs, Ive seen K24 gain 5 HP off this mod.. maybe it could work on a f20c. YOur car is HAWT... keep up the tuning, I'll be checking in here often!

i have an extra manifold so im gonna do sum custom work n see where it goes
where did you find this? what was result?
i do smthing like that right now..
