Default F215-SS

I don't speak Japanese, but I can read Katakana for slight comprehension
Has any1 seen this?

F215-SS I Spec
2139cc
Bore X Stroke: 88mm X 88mm
Compression: 11.7
Compression Height: 24.4 (OEM: 30)
Piston Weight: 320g (OEM: 470g)
Connecting Rod Length: 156.6mm (F20C: 153mm) (F22C: 149.65mm)
Connecting Rod Metal (I think thickness): 45mm (OEM 48mm)

"Below is my speculation & comments"

Rod Stroke Ratio
F20C: 1.82
F215-SS I: 1.78
F22C: 1.65
The F215-SS R:S is not as high as the F20C, but it is improved a lot from F22C.
Piston weight reduction of 150g allowed this individual to utilize 3mm thinner rod due to lesser weight.
Compression Height was decreased due to longer rods, so the down side is camshafts variety will be limited to prevent Piston to Valve contact.
Overall: F215-SS is a more responsive engine due to internal rotational weight reduction.

Here is a link to their site K-TECH ENGINE SERVICE
Seems you can buy this kit for only 2.1M円, that's a bit less than 20k USD lol.
I wonder what they do to the cylinder bores?

I rather buy another S2000
I think K-TECH re-sleeve the cylinder bore

Video says they use iron liners.

As far as I was aware, that isn't the kit, but a fully built engine - my understanding is that Kawashima San won't sell you just the parts?

Read all about him here: https://www.hybrid-racing.com/blogs/...engine-service

Scroll down to about half way - is a fantastic read .

Sadly the pictures are no longer linked to the blog, but you can still find them with some Google searching or via their Instagram site.

Yes seems the price is for the complete build, you just send them an engine to upgrade.
Thanks for the link, Kawashima San seems like he really knows his things
Wish the pictures would still be there though..

I've seen this video and yeah he sure does. Sigh, if only I could take my S2K to Japan with me immediately! So many great things/services I would have access to right there
