Default F22 oem crank into F20 block

I'm pretty sure an F22 crank drops straight into an F20 block, but just want to check!

Thanks

You may need to notch the block for the rods (your builder can check it easy) but my K24 crank works just perfect in F20 block.

Yep, drop-in. I'm running F22 in F20 block currently.

your going to have to notch the bottom of the sleeves to clear the rods. Stock f22c already have the sleeves notched.

no, this is incorrect info.

edit: Yes the F22 block is notched, no you don't have to notch the F20 block to fit the F22 crank

Doesn't that contradict itself?

I think older AP1s are not notched. But if AP2s are notched, there must be a reason for it. I mean, why would they do it?

I had to notch my AP1 block for my 2.4 crank but some 2.2 blocks did not need to be notched for the 2.4. If it were my build, Id have my builder check for clearance issues just in case.
It was only $100 for my builder to notch it. I'm not saying you do or don't need to, but I am saying checking clearances is part of a build and don't be surprised if you need to notch it.

When I personally built my 2.4 with a F22C block I didn't need to notch anything.

Whoever assembles the motor will find out pretty easily without damaging anything if they need to notch it when they go to spin the assembly by hand.

I only assume that you will need to notch the bottom of the stock sleeves to clear the rods. The f20c block and f22c block is 100% the same with the exception that the f22 has the bottom of the sleeves notched for more clearance for the rods due to the longer stroke of the f22. Why would Honda do this if it was not needed? The only experience i have is i did build a 2.4 with a k24 crank in a f20 block and i have to notch the hell out my stock sleeves in my f20c block to clear the rods.
