Are y'all using oils with high levels of zddp? I am. No signs of wear yet.

I use rotella, but brad penn and amsoil, are the common ones

my 00 has the same ap2 engine + ap1 ecu setup... Dat pheelz gud


the extra power in the ap2 engine in the ap1 is very noticeable... at least the but dyno says so

Do both ap1&2 heads flow the same? I've read the ap1 cams are best for both motors with the ap2 valvetrain being beat out of the lot.but do the heads flow the same??

Another thread were logic and real world experience appear to differ lol. I personally don't Rev past 8400 on mine but others do all the time.

Silly question for most, but is it possible to pass smog testing with this swap? Does the F22C put out substantially more negative emissions than the F20C?

You will have no issue with smog.

Good to know s2000junky. Need to start making a decision as I noticed oil on my cylinder 2 plug when I was changing them. Thank you for the response.
