Thanks. We are the shop who build Blueprints k24 S2k. Glad you liked it. Thank you for your input on other points you've made. We'll see how this turns out in the end and hopefully this is as successful as we anticipate. It is agreed you can build an even higher displacement with this new deck plate feature. One step at a time. Reliability is still the main focus and horsepower will be what its going to be.

So Eagle Rods, What pistons are those. They look look OEMish. They look A LOT like the RS machine Pistons for a K24.

Yes they are RS 11:1 compression K24 pistons. The original plan was to use Honda 11:1 87mm pistons from the 2013 Honda Civic Si. Unfortunately we got stuck with pistons we cannot use. Here is a look at the Civic k24 87mm piston

If you look at the shape, the high points circled in the photo work for a K series cylinder head, but will not for an F20c/F22c head. K series combustion chambers are dome shaped like the B16a/b18c5. The F20c head camber is much tighter and shaped like a B18c1 GSR head. Those high points in the civic piston will hit the combustion chamber. As of right now we have not found a 87mm Honda K series pistons with a standard type of dome to use. For the sake of time we opted for the RS cast piston for this TEST engine. Once we find a usable Honda piston we will surely change over.

We also wasted money on OEM rods from the 2013 SI, but with fear of the rod strength not being adequate we went with Eagle rods.
