With the use of our adjustable drive gear and a customized timing tensioner we had no issues with the stock timing chain guides. Our extended timing chain was just the right amount to use the original guides.

I was referring to the highlighted area. The tensioner arm bolts to the block and the tensioner itself to the head, so with the added deck spacer it will be putting the tensioner placing force higher on the arm. There is a hardened piece on the arm where the tensioner was designed to place it's force.

I'm guessing you used a tensioner where the piston sits lower in the housing? Is that what was meant by the "customized" tensioner?

^ Yes, I know exactly what you were referring to in your original question. My answer is still the same. No modification to the chain guides were necessary. We customized our own Billet TCT to match up. No it didn't need to be lower in the housing. The contact from the TCT and the guide is higher up due to the deck plate, but good contact is made nonetheless. We made the chain long enough to have slack almost identical to OEM.

I see. This is a new venture in the f series world. I know there are a lot of variables that come into account, and it's always the small things that create setbacks. I'm excited to see the outcome when it's all said and done.

Everything is going together like clockwork. No different from a standard F20c engine assembly.

After a year of hard work and development, we have succeeded on the first time out in the development of our Deck Plate and stroker kit. NO OIL LEAKS! OR COOLANT LEAKS! coming from the deck plate after start up. Leak down percentages are all at 0-3% Compression test results (230, 230, 230, 230psi) Cooling system pressure test held up pressure @ 15psi for 30 mins. No sign of oil mixing with coolant/water.

We are extremely happy with our result and will continue with more testing to ensure a positive result. Hope you guys like what you see.
