^^^Thanks for the info.

I was told the rings were better and was also a response to you comment about better compression rings. Other than that, I dont know much about the difference in years lol

Call it low compression all you want. In CA we have 91 octane fuel at a cost of 3.75 a gallon. If we are lucky we can find 100+ at some high end pumps for over 8.00 a gallon. I may be on an island but I would NEVER spend that kind of money in daily driver.

Thank you Alex and Ballade for pushing forward with your ideas.

4 arms, 3 legs: so you either have to sacrifice all your appendages, plus sourcing another set of arms and leg, or you have to go on a chainsaw massacre. Pro Tip: Don't forget that you still need your own arms and leg to acquire the remaining appendage balance before you go ahead and detach your own

For us to invent and change the future someone has to be willing to invest so others can afford. It seems costly now, and it is for us at Ballade with the possibility of no financial return. But as this gets better and more streamlined we will figure out ways to produce these at an affordable price similar to what a new short block from Honda lists at. Since the F22 is soon to be discontinued, we suspect the use F20 and F22 engines will eventually deplete as well. Rebuilding F series engines will become more essential in the future. We plan on keeping these in stock and ready for customers in the future so they don't have to wait months for an assembly. Since our deck plate has proven to seal, we will begin with marketing the deck plate kit for people to build their own F24 engines to start and the full production engines in the years to come.

So how much is it? I'm asking because I'm looking to build my engine as my current one is going. FYI, I've pretty much ordered you guy's entire catalog in the past month for the s2k (except the K24 swap stuff).

Report update: Car has gone through it first two tanks of gas 91 octane. First tank mpg wasn't recorded due to dyno, etc. Second tank received 19.2 miles per gallon of highway and city driving. Of course, some occasional Vtec engaging.

^Yes in fact. Running beautifully. 23.8mpg highway was just reported averaging 75mph. Zero oil burning and the engine has already reached 1600 miles. With the 91 octane gas we have in CA it really limits us in way of making good reliable power. This engine has been floored full throttle in 6th gear at 1800 rpms without even a hint of detonation or bogging. Just like a stock engine the rpm just climb until Vtec at 4200 rpms. Truly a daily driving engine.
