header debate
i am waiting on my reflash to come back, i have been doing some research in the meantime on which headers to go with. i was told not to get a header with primaries that are less than 2".
after looking at todas website (i ordered the toda reflash) todas primaries are 1.78". other companies such as megan do offer the 2" primaries. any opinions or experience on what the difference would be and if the 1.78" primaries would be sufficient for the flow im looking for or should i go for the larger primaries for better initial flow? im thinking the smaller primaries would help the torque curve out more than the larger primaries that would be more designed for peak horsepower numbers.

the big thing is maintaining velocity without allowing the gases to expand and cool too much. I think that has a lot to do with VE and then of course the exhaust system pairing.
hopefully an engineer could add input.

i have a 70mm testpipe and 70mm single exhaust if that would matter on which header would be better suited for my setup
the smaller collector ones would be good for 60mm

j's has the biggest primaries i believe and all this info is in the official header thread so look there please. longer primaries help torque i know that such as the hks which is super rare
