Default HKS header (New tune aug4th)

Hey guys I'm Gona edit this again. For those who have been following this thread, my numbers to me personally weren't not impressive. Has been some small discussion going back and fourth. I still feel there is more power to be had . Here's my dyno comparing stock ecu vs aem ems

The numbers aren't bad but I think there is room for some improvement as I beleive the entire rev range should be over stock.. So I'm scheduled for a re tune with Jeff Evans on August 4th. He's one of the top tuners on the east coast and has plenty of experience tuning s2000's. I will get another base run on his dyno vs aem ems. The setup is injen cai Tanabe medalion exhaust, circuit werks tp, and the hks header. Then proceed to get tuned on a aem ems. The car is a 01 ap1

Hey guys I'm in the market for a decent header. My first choice was the buddy club. But even though tons of sites have em listed when I contact em all say it's discontinued (update ur sites. .. U know who u are)..

I'm looking to do a basic bolton tuned on ems. I have injen Cai, Tanabe medalion exhaust, circuit werks tp. The header is the last peice of the puzzle. I'm looking into the hks header as Moddiction as usual comes through with insanely great prices Everytime I message him for parts. But I tried searching here and even on Google to get some info on this header. Does anyone have info on this header or links that I could've missed? I'm looking more for info on a tuned header because obviously the header could lose power on a un tuned setup. Thanks !

Check with Evasive Motorsports they're a vendor they collaborated with HKS on their supercharger they may have some experience with the header. They sell it on their website.

If I remember correctly, Evasive uses it on their red race car (or at least they did at some point), albeit supercharged. The OEM header is hard to beat; besides the weight reduction. If you are going to spend on a higher end header, I would go with the URGE Unicorn header. If you wanted to buy a lower end header, Berk or PLM have been pretty good to people. Good luck!

NP

I should mention he has K&N intake, HKS header and I forget his TP/exhaust. But all of those based at 200WHP. Tune he made 225.
Tune is key and who knows what the header really makes. Most get a header for weight savings.
