Default i need some help with the price im getting to build my head.

im not trying to cheap out on things but i have to get the head build and i got a price from my mechanic, i am a noob on this and sometimes i feel like ppl want to take advantage of me.

my car has been at his shop since monday. including labor and machine shop cost(valves seat had to be re done), gaskets and supertech everything. he price it all out at 2050 bucks. then again im not complaining about price because i dont really know how much work goes into it but i want to make sure im not being rape either.

I had my head machined, 4 exhaust valves replaced, and new seals and it was about $1,500. Not sure how much the Supertech would add to the price.
