Invidia Q300 130db in meter test
Hello! I´m bought an Invidia Q300 in this page. I tested the sound and to 9000 rpm the meter is 130db. Is this normal? The car only have a berk test pipe,

That's how loud this POS exhaust is! If your employer subjected you this much noise you'd need ear plugs under ear muffs. A-weighting Slow-response is the protocol. About 27" at a 45° from the exhaust tips. 130 dBA is louder than the typical chain saw.
It's a shame you didn't check here before buying. Ya gotta hear any exhaust candidate in person. Sound clips are less than useless. I only measured mine at 105dBA with the a high flow cat. Came off the car with in two or three weeks.

I have the Q300 single and it is pretty quiet. Way quieter than my Subaru with an HKS exhaust. That is insane! I have no idea how you got it to be that loud. I thought the Q300 was supposed to be one of the quieter exhausts? 130DB is super loud, was this right out of the muffler?

What did you test it with, and from how far away?
If you tested it with any cell phone app (android or iPhone) it means absolutely nothing as the apps can't be calibrated and are inaccurate. They are absolutely meaningless.
It's also meaningless if you tested it right at the tip.
130db will damage your hearing within minutes. I am sure it was not anywhere near this. How do I know? Take a look at this chart (which is valid).

The Q300 is an exhaust designed for and sold to high schoolers as a public service to show them what AlfaHotels they can be with a little effort.
