Default Making plans for possible AEM tune with mods....

The concensus I see here is with a few mods,a high flow cat or a test pipe, and a tune,I can lower VTEC to about the 4k rpm range. For those who have done this with an AEM ems, will VTEC activate at part throttle?? I am currently using 4.44 gears and on the freeway,I am always around 4000 to 4500 rpms cruising. Unless I plan on driving exactly at 65 or slower, I really can't avoid it. Can a AEM Series 2 be set to activate VTEC only if I give it more gas and stay out of VTEC at part throttle?

Thanks for the reply wadzii. Now has anyone needed to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or upgrade injectors for bolts ons?
