Research. Then when you think you're found the right part, research some more.

The Mugen header is a well made piece of material. It will provide gains almost through out the entire rpm range, but really needs a tune to show results. I've got the Rick's (Mugen copy) and like it. If I had to do it over though, I'd look to find a used J's which yields slightly better high end hp.

I really haven't saw any thorough testing of any header, so who really knows? A real test would be fully tuned before and after. Everyone throws multiple parts on at once so you really don't know what part did what or they throw a part on and tune with no meaningful baseline to compare it to.

With the H-series and B-series, you can look up a part and literally get info as to where power was made, for a given set-up. I'm surprised their isn't much of any info like this for even bolt on's for the F20 and F22. Gernby has done some, but we need more people to contribute.

yeh i've read those pages before. kinda sad when you think about how much you spent and gain next to nothing for that amount.

h22tof20- here check this link out man. http://www.importtuner.com/tech/powe...en_header.html pls note that i linked you to the header page, if you go through all of the pages, you'll realize that website did a complete thorough test. to me it's quite impressive being that there was no test pipe in the mix. i'm starting to lean heavily on this header if i decide to stay n/a longer. but eventually i'll go turbo. in any case, i wish they would've threw a test pipe in there coz i bet they would've gained at least another 8whp and plus they had tuning capabilities so they can pick up more hp with a test pipe + tune.

^lol You're using Import Tuner to make your decisions. Their's no way an OEM computer with the OEM test-pipe, will make 12whp from bolting on an exhaust; especially sense it's a dual. The HKS 75mm single only made 6whp. Just by knowing that, I have to assume everything else they tested is BS as well.

From what I've saw, they do this to EVERY part the test.
