Looks great, keep up the good work, more than 300WHP NA is a dream for most, and you reached it!
Thank you sir for the kind words!
It's funny you mention that... I've always wanted to do a big bore F series with an F22C crank, rev it to 9500 all day long. No need to increase the stroke if you want to make more power. 4Piston head, some of their custom road race cams, good induction, and compression... Just gotta rev that f**ker up!

My dream motor build. ITBs, high reving, F-series block, made for circuit (not drag) use, N/A - everything that I want. Keep us posted on reliability.
I'm going to the track tomorrow afternoon for testing if the weather holds up. Will have some vids for you soon!

It's my dream build too! I am anti-boost for these cars. All my stroker blocks have had phenomenal reliability. Note that my motors get thrashed on track... So when I say reliable, I don't mean the kind of reliability of "I daily drive my car and take it to the dragon every year". Every time I tear down a block, the pistons, bearings and bores all come out looking mint. My problems in the past have all been because of valvetrain issues (had a s2ki-popular aftermarket cam fail on me, and 2 valvetrain failures from 2 different reputable manufacturers.)

Pretty much the case. My last motor was 257 hp on pump. It made 267 on VP MS109. That had a J37 TB and port matched intake manifold. So yah, the OEM intake manifold holds things back quite a bit. Also, there aren't any good off the shelf cams available for us. Last motor, OEM AP1 cams made better power and torque almost everywhere vs the BC2 cams. If there's one thing I absolutely hate in our community is the old sayings of "these S2000 motors don't respond to mods like other motors". Let's face it, the F series is essentially a K minus the VTC. There's no trickery here. The problem is, there aren't enough guys like 4Piston who've developed stuff for our motors. But I digress haha

Was the failed cam cast or billet?

Exactly...VTC and 3/10ths of an inch of deck height.

The failed cam was an offshore cast core

Was that on a AP2v2 after it had been enlarged for and fitted with a larger throttle body?
No, I was trying to stay STU legal so Intake Manifold was unmodified AP1 with OEM unmodified throttle body.

I was wondering if you have looked into WPC treating parts of your valve train. I'm considering WPC treating my cam caps and rockers.
