That sucks about the cams. Didn't realy no they had probs with them. A friend of mine rob. Says just to stay on stock cams but I was looking for more power n wantd to complet the motor with a set of big cams. N later a manifold n header. Just a great flow in n out. What cams actuly last. ?

Hey guys. We'll. We put it al in n toghter last night. We're up till 11 n the freezeing cold to finish it. Went to start it n nothing. Has no spark and don't no why. Check all grounds n swaped coils n plugs nothing any ideas please help. I was realy disapointed last night. What else could it b. Help me out here.

need more info, did it crank over and not start? did it not crank at all? etc etc

hey guys well merry christmas
and it runs runs like a champ went bak over the timeing and evrything found the it depend how u wer loking at the center of the center cam gear n it was adjusted one tooth over and still loked lined up
put it back toghter and bam it strated on the first try souned so sweet to hear . done 2 oil changes and checked al twice she has 200 miles on it now drove it around a lil last night and my freind who i ow alot the work to drove her around all day lol gota break it in right want it to last .
Also it seems to run realy strong we crusie it and only go to 3500 max seems to pull threw the grears very well with lil gas no struggle to get up to speed on the streets just a feeling could it actuly b the motor or r we just happy lol
And another id like to thank all of you who hav helped me out with advise and the work thanks david andy chris and rob and the s2ki comunity .

hey any advise on a great break in for the car.

Pistons are backwards.

Anybody care to take a stab at whether or not the valve relief will be a problem?

Cannot see the pictures. After 10 minutes my Iphone lost the battle against the gigabytes...
If the pistons are mounted in the wrong direction the pistons will get heavy slap into the cylinders.
The pins are slightly out of center to compensated load changes in TDC when the rod is tilting.

Valve clearance will be an issue later when the reliefs are covered with carbon.
