I have a good friend who has a set of Toda Bs, Toda ITBs and supporting mods - his car carried power to around 8800rpm on the dyno with an OEM 2.2l block. Since the Toda Cs have more duration and the AT power ITBs are larger I bet the motor will want to carry a little beyond 9k.

Should be wicked!

I am curious too! We still have some time to prepare everything as this is a major overhaul as well (including paint job, new top, bushings etc)

Sorry for the delay guys! We had to expedite some OEM bearings as National Honda did not have stock. We always keep stock of all codes but believe it or not, we run of Green main bearings for the first time since years! We get the bearings tomorrow and will post some blueprinting and assembly pics.

Some progress done today. Block is (almost) ready. Blueprinted with OEM Honda bearings (at last)! Compression ratio turned out to be 13.1:1 with stock height head gasket. We will go with 1mm that will bring us down to a more pump gas friendly 12.75:1

Progressing slowly, progressing nonetheless. Toda C camshafts and gears on. Had to remove exhaust side again to give the necessary clearance to rocker arms as suggested by Toda. Quite time consuming task and very easy to damage the rollers if you do not pay attention!

Non-engine related but this is a complete project, not a dyno queen.

HKS Hi power 75mm ceramic coated exhaust
Ohlins Coilovers
Rear RX8 caliper conversion with Sakebomb vented discs
Insane driveshafts
Neat gearboxes rebuilt and reinforced rear diff with Os Giken LSD

The big moment has come! Sorry for the horrible valve cover, we plan to refurbish it after dyno tuning session as I guess we will have to take it off numerous times to adjust the Toda gears and do not want to scratch it.

Looks great. Excited to see how it fairs on the dyno.
