2007 S2K, purchased w/ a modified Apex'i WS2 (resonator removed) , test pipe and a flash pro as far as performance mods go.
Getting tired of the exhaust note and volume (especially on the highway) and I'm about to move to a state that will be doing emissions testing so I'm going to replace the exhaust and get an HFC.
I'm leaning towards Tanabe touring medallion and the 63mm berk HFC.
Would there be any gains with getting a header while I'm at it? Should I go after the Berk header to compliment their HFC or is there something better?

I'd worry about emissions before messing with headers.

I'm running the Tanabe Medalion Touring and the 63mm Berk HFC in my 2006 Gernby FlashPro tuned car. The car is registered in Franklin County where we own a house so no E-check required. I've run it thru the self-service E-check kiosk here in Cleveland (other house) twice just for curiosity and it comes back PASS on emissions. OBD2 port check, no tail pipe.

Where ya going? Guys there can have specific data. I put the Berk cat inside the OEM heatshields.

I'm moving from Cincinnati Ohio where we haven't had any sort of Echeck for years to Austin Texas where I believe they do the ODB2 port AND a visual inspection.
I'm not worried about Echeck in ATX if i get the berk HFC as they should still see something that looks like a cat. The header I don't see affecting emissions so I'm header shopping just as a 'while I'm in there'.
