Default off the wall header?

Hey fellas, well been preparing to start the bolt-ons on the ap2 and came across a header design that peaked my interest.
no for background ive came from the ford Mod Motor world, specifically the 3V's.
i know the basics of header design being equal, non equal, sequential and so on.
found this just browsing around the web and wanted some input.
from searching on here i do not see anyonw with it and from what i know it seems like a good design.

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=HDMF

and if your going to ask i will be making my own exhaust using 3" from header back to muffler choices undetermined yet, AEM cold air, and Flashpro with a dyno tune.
just the breathing basics.

My advice:

Make the header the last thing you upgrade.

Do exhaust, intake and tune first.

Stock header works extremely well

Pretty sure thats a rep of the skunk 2 header.

I also agree with the above. The header provides the least in terms of any gains. Test pipe and exhaust and a tune should come before the header.

Well my biggest hangup is that I was going to cut off the factory flange and fab a 3" coupled section right off the last y so there's no choke down. Idk if the factory header secondarys are up to that task to.merge into a 3" collector.

CXRacing is pretty bad quality in my experience. I purchased two of their items and neither fit right. Stick with something name-brand like Invidia or Skunk2.

Lol name brand like invidia or skunk2. Both junk brands. If you want a cheap header thats good quality get a PLM. Yes it is a rep but they fit well and have been shown to make some gain and if you are going to cut it anyway may as well buy the rep.

that header is a BAD copy of the skunk2 megapower.

For a bolt on car the ONLY good reason to change the header is to save some weight and it makes removing the transmission easier since you dont have to remove the header (the stock header gets in the way of pulling the transmission out.)
