Default PLM Race headers

I did search, but I was only able to find information about their old headers (J's rep).

Has anyone tried this one their stepped header?

https://privatelabelmfg.com/products...c4aab6ce&_ss=r

I am wondering if this or the J's rep would be better?

Thanks,
Sheng

It's a rep of the Ballade which is a rep of the old Hytech. As far as which is better, the OEM design is arguably better because a) it's free and b) a header doesn't really gain much power on our cars given its cost.

Thanks for the information hatsubai. I figured some weight savings and gains wouldn't hurt mostly since I'm now N/A. Looking to couple my PWJDM intake and HKS single with to pull out as much power as possible from the otherwise stock block.

Do you have a way to tune your car? If not your mods aren't doing you any favors. Spend money on a tuning solution+tune before getting anymore bolt-ons

I have had that header for a while now, but agree you wont get much from just bolting on stuff like that on this car. I bought it along with a HFC and the Karcepts emanage tune. Even then, the HFC makes far more difference with the tune than the header does. But otherwise, it fit just fine, and is holding up roughly 25,000 miles later

Do you have the new two piece design one or the old single piece one?

Gotcha. The Tri Y Race version is a different version than that one and is based off of a different design. It came out not too long ago.

Yes I'm on Hondata Kpro4, it's already tuned with test pipe, pwjdm intake, and tanabe medallion. Since I made the switch to HKS single, I wanted to free up some more flow for the car.

I’m really interested in this header too, but can’t seem to find my info on it.
