Same dyne. The intake went from a 3 inch to a full 3.5 inch cold air. Also went from an oem manifold to a fully ported manifold.

What kind of throttle body are you using?
Would be interesting to see the dyno plots showing the difference as well.

As someone else has already mentioned, the plenum size itself is more of a restriction than anything, you'd be better enlarging the plenum for a few more litres of capacity.

Did the throttle body change between the before and after. You have too many variables to put it down to just the intake. The bigger plenum without touching the runners would result in more torque across the entire power band than what the top end power is worth

Before I added the manifold and new intake I had already had my throttle body.

So 9whp at its peak in top end with some gains down low and no losses, with the new ported and opened up manifold and a larger 3.5" intake tube, correct? Dyno would be great to see the old and new curve. Can you get the file with the old set up and new overlay and present it here?

I will try to contact my tuner since he moves around from dyno to dyno. Sometimes hard to catch him since he's not local and travels around a lot lol. But will definitely try to post the graphs.

Wow interesting. I’m making 224 on my ap1 on 93 octane. I too recently got my hands on a IM. I was just gonna have the inlet ported. I read on here porting interiorly causes an increase in heat or something. Not sure if that’s misinfo. Was gonna go with 70mm tb from ballade or something. Tuned on doctronic by ebtec
I’m told not to shoot for fuel upgrades...? Shooting for 250whp with a nice header and head work.
op what’s ur setup? I’ll tell u mine once disclose yours
