Everything was slightly enlarged and port match. The runners from oem are actually pretty small and a lot of material could be removed from them. Just like the k series rbc manifold.

Patiently waiting with bated breath. I love porting for the simple reason is that from the outside the engine still looks stock.
something akin to punching a 289 v8 out to a 331 but keeping the valve covers the OE 289 stamped ones...

Just because there is material doesn't mean it should be removed. You will lose I take air velocity because the runners will be too large. Has been proven over and over on this platform. Just because it works on another doesn't mean it works on this one

Quick update. Tuned this weekend and find gains everywhere mainly in the top end. Gained about 9 horsepower with my 3.5 inch intake and fully ported manifold. Obviously this doesn't happen for everyone that does these mods since every car reacts different, but it did work for me. Next i will be looking into getting some cams to see what other power i can extract from the car.

What kind of tuner where you using? Hondata or a full aftermarket ECU and I believe there is room to grow with a good set of cams, youll have to report the idle and off idle acceleration characteristics.

9 hp almost doesn't seem worth it, but when its coupled with a good exhaust set up and retune I'm sure itll add up to be appreciable.

Without knowing complete changes before and after it is hard to say what the actual power difference was. What intake before and after, manifold and what else was changed? Same dyno, conditions, etc???
