i'm sure anyone with an ap2 will be similiar to your 2.2 stroked, idk about toda cams most of what i've read say they are bad, but they might have fixed that now, quad throttle bodies or ITB's will give you lots and lots of midrange and better throttle response depending on tune, idk about the injectors or aem, should be fine but i'm basing that on nothing, toda header is a great one so ddint go wrong there.

First, it's header, not headers, there is only one on an inline engine. Sorry, it's a pet peeve ... I'm a prick.

Second, look up ASM's specs, they're running a setup very similar to yours (bigger exhaust), and I think they have the B spec cams, not 100% sure though. I think you have to be running forced induction of some kind to get a benefit from the C specs.

EDIT: For reference, ASM is getting 291whp out of theirs.

damn, and they spent countless dollars on their R&D most likely.

do you have a link or a provided source that says 291 WHEEL hp? I'm not calling BS I've just always wondered about what kind of numbers they have and wanted to see for myself.

this is the old 2.2L they had though.. now they run a 2.4L which most certainly has more power..

All the big Japanese tuners use the Spec A2 cams in their race motors. The Bs and Cs just don't make much if any additional power and where on the motor much more. You would probably be in the 250 whp area and much more area under the curve.

A guy here with a fully built motor got 8HP out of them. They aren't worth it at all. Use the Spec A2s or the stock cams. Gears will do more than the cams themselves.

Also, keep in mind that peak power means nothing. The area under the curve will tell you everything.

I believe there is a member on here that has ITB's, the supporting mods, and an AEM EMS; he has about 220whp if I'm not mistaken. While 220 peak horsepower may sound weak, he said he would constantly pull on modded S2000's, due to his massive mid range.

I'm not sure if it is the same member or not, but another person with the same mods as listed above ran a 13.1 1/4mile time.

Both of these cars (if they aren't the same), had completely stock motors.

If you were so inclined, you could build your own 2.4l Stroker motor and add ITB's on it (Along with the supporting modifications of course).
