QUIET performance mods?
#21
I am running an 08 with ballade headers , berk 70mm tp with stock airbox. Its very quieted and all my friends says it sounds very nice at WOT. I just took off my js 70rs today. Damn I can hear my radio again!

please tell me it's no so i can get an exhaust too haha

^^^ But think about it for a moment, a Cat delete with factory exhaust will free up just as much (if not more) then a OEM cat and new cat back, and at 1/10th the cost. A TP with stock exhaust if I remember (its been years) is still quieter. I run a Tanabe 93db Concept G with TP BTW, the sound is excellent! But bang for buck, "quiet per hp" I stand by my original suggestion.
you got a vid of what yours sounds like?

Do you have a video clip of your setup for reference?
My setup sounds nearly the same as stock unless you stomp on the throttle. BC Stage 2 NA cams, K&N FIPK intake, Comptech header, stock exhaust, dyno-tuned on Hondata Flashpro for 226 whp. That's more power than plenty of super loud setups, and it passes California smog tests.

once one pushes the Play button.. oh.. Start... I get them confused... anyway.. once you press play... take the word Quiet out of any equation... go all electric or go home... it's been / being done... you want a QUIET Mod.. search the threads and read what the S-Electric boyz are up to... cause it's QUIET.... myself, I like the noise.. but I do love their work..

I just had a LW flywheel and AP2 secondary gear into my Ap1 and without any other hp mods, it feels a bit livelier. placebo or not who knows but i'm thrilled with no NVH penalty.
