RLZ Valve job/cylinder head refresh power gains
I posted this in under the hood by mistake.. A lot of people dont visit that section a whole lot.
We recently had a customer come in with an 02 s2000 with 140k miles concerned that he was using a little oil, diagnosis pointed to valve stem seals.
With the milage on the car we decided to go ahead and pull the cylinder head and have an RLZ performance valve job done and install supertech springs and retainers.
Whenever we sell parts and do the install we offer free before and after dyno runs.
Here are the results from the after dyno runs. It picked up 10-15ft/lb of tq down low and a few hp up top. The graph got a bit smoother and the butt dyno results were positive. The owner reported that the car does drive quite a bit better and pulls much smoother.
