They don't make it anymore (and I think I know why). I have one but my god is it a bitch to do without the car leaking oil. I've done it 5 or 6 times and only twice have I managed to get the timing cover on without it leaking. I did it last week and just looked under the car to a big oil spot. They have a new thing to replace it I'm thinking of ordering and trying.

Did they perhaps mention if it worked with any other pans besides those 3? I dont see the PRB one listed here.

just ordered the TracTuff oil pump baffle above!!!

With the intake manifold adaptor plates, are they specific for each cyclinder head? Like I know its different plate for a k20 and k24. But say a k24a2 versus k24a3 as an example.. would the "k24" plate be different etc?

what final drive is everyone using on their K24 swapped s2000?

Im about to finish mine, and I currently have a 4.77 in there. Initial thought was it is going to be too short, however I just had a look at the DC5R (Y2M3) gearbox, and these ratios are incredibily close to the S2000 1-6. and that has a final drive of 4.7, similar to what i have now.

Cheers

I have the OEM 4.1 in there. Depends on what you rev it to. 8k the 4.1 is perfect, 9k the 4.1 feels a bit long. I wouldn't rev to 9k very often though. I did a Dyno pull to 9k and a couple runs up there on the street.

i have my kpro set to 8100 redline. Stock K24A2 with k20 50deg vtc and k20 oil pump

I currently have the 4.77FD in there, and ive done half a track day. Will be doing one tomorrow, see how it goes. initially it does feel a bit short though ;p

Loads of shifting. That gives you a low 50mph 2nd gear. Video of mine at the drag strip with 8200 rpm limiter and 290's whp and 4.10's

Looks like a good run, just a bit short having to run into 5th gear though. A increase in rev limit would put you perfect and easily knock a few tenth or more off. The Stock 4.10 is a pretty ideal ratio in most S2000 applications, certainly with the addition of more power, and or a short 8200 rpm limit. The only application where id see some performance value in gearing is specifically a 4.44 in a ap1 with stock engine.

What was the deal with the swerve at the end, trying to avoid a squirrel or something? lol
