Default Tuning with bigger exhaust

Hi Guys I need your opinions which ecu is better for me
Apexi VAFC or Haltech or others, in cost/performance. Mine is 2003
I will stay N/A for my s2k and try to make more NA power. Currently I have a CT engineering intake , Amuse R1 single exhaust (60mm i think), Berk 63mm highflow cat.
My last dyno without the hfc is just 190hp 130lb*ft

Should I get an aftermarket header or bigger exhaust (70mm) in order to make more power with tuning?

Thanks!!

i made 228whp,
mods are
-cold air intake
-skunk2 megapower header
-invidia test pipe 70mm
-hks single 75mm exhaust
-flashpro untuned

tuner said i had a good flowing exhaust. i honestly would never go with anything smaller than 70mm. theres no point. just stick with your stock exhaust if youre looking for 65mm and under

221 wheel horsepower on a Mustang dyno here. (These dynos are reputed to be very conservative reading at least 10% lower than others.)

This is with a 63.5mm highflow cat and Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust which I think is 60 mm. OE header I recall is 57mm ID so my setup is less restrictive than the header.

Little significant power to be gained without forced induction although lowering the VTEC to 3600 provides some startling mid range power.

Agreed! Your Hi Power or a J's 70RS/RR are great for flow and suitable for boost as well

I would do a bigger exhaust setup. At least a 70mm test pipe and 3 inch exhaust. Headers are hit or miss with these cars due to the fact that the oem one is basically bullet proof, its more for a weight saving aspect instead of power unless you go with something like hytech or urge. Would also look into a bigger throttle body as well. As far as ecu I'm currently running haltech and nothing but smiles here.
