Unfortunately whatever gains the bellmouth might provide are likely to be lost and maybe more by using a 3.0" ID pipe (2.875"/73mm ID) in between like that IMHO. Think about it; how does having a 80mm TB going to be effective being fed by a 73mm ID tube when your goal is to reduce intake restriction? Would be feasible with 3.5" or larger feed pipe, but 73mm is two or more steps back in my experience.

edit: just saw in the manifold thread that you may use 3.5" afterall, so that may help.

Yeah, that idea was me trying to use the Password intake chamber. But, as you saw that is out the window. I am going to try two setups during my tune. 4" to 3.5" on both. One short ram and one long tube. I may try a 70mm inlet into the tb with the 4" to 3.5" just for the heck of it. but that'll be last. Just trying to see if i can speed up velocity. But we shall see.
