You only wrap manifolds to decrease heat into the engine bay and increase exhaust gas velocity which in turns help performance but its probably minute.
I also agree with this ^^^^

It would help if your header is shaved. You obviously need to lose the heatshields and all the brackets for it. I did on mine before wrapping it... and it happens to be for sale.

FS Thread

If you do decide to shave it, it ONLY took me 4 hours to do... but well worth it.

Thank you very much for the photos and your advise!

But only one question...

You can do this mod in "diy / home"????
Can we do the gel coating by ourselves....

Thanks

You can definitely do the header wrapping yourself. You will need 1"x50' and 2"x50' to completely cover the header. Use the 1" wrap for the primaries since its all curvy. Wrap tight and take your time. Again, it would be hell of an easier time and it would look 100 times better if the header is shaved.

I wrapped from my header all the way to my muffler. I am hoping to reduce heat coming inside the cabin thru shifter / cupholder and maybe reduce some sound.

What about heat wrapping a coated manifold that has a heat shield?

I wouldn't get too carried away with wrapping everything. Thermal wrap is made of cloth which absorbs water. If you get it wet, it keeps the moisture against the metal, causing the exhaust to rust quicker than if it were not wrapped.

Off topic, but I recently wrapped my aem v2 intake arm and it sure made a difference in the amount of heat soak. The arm feels so much cooler than before the wrap. I say wrap it all!
