I think it's pretty interesting that the current registration list is only ~80 people. Obviously we are still a month and a half away from the event, but I thought these events generally saw high registration numbers pretty quickly.

Steve I Think most people are slightly turned off by the format. We will likely be going to nj,dover,DC,Peru,Arkansas and nationals instead

Sacha
BTW when are you coming down for an event. Terry,David. and Darrin have been having some nice battles

I'm diasappointed that they took the only tour in the southeast and messed with it, especially one that has been very successful in the last few years. It seems like on s2ki alone there were plenty of BS, STR, and BSP people who were planning on going until it was announced that it would be a Match Tour.
I'm hoping to run David's car at a few national events, depending what events he wants to take his car to. It's probably going to be much better prepped than my car.

If I don't go to Dixie I'm going to try to go to the Ft Myers event in March. Seems like those are very well attended events. Another upside of not going to Dixie is I can head down to Sebring for the 12 Hours.

Ended up with 242 entries preregistered. I see 23 in STR, majority being s2k's.

Should be a fun weekend, I'm anxious!

Not bad for STR. There were 24 with recorded times last year, but 295 overall. This is usually a great event to kick off the year and well subscribed!

I say this not knowing your skill but keep in mind this is a TOUGH class at the national level. Depending on who your going against, mid-pack would mean you are quite fast.

Either way, tours are a blast!

Justin, are you going to give STR another try? You know you can quit until you get some hardware!

I want to say I'm "quite fast", as I have faired well at Dixie and MidGa events. But the main thought in my head is that I want to see where I'm at compared to the national level. My car isn't even close to prepped for STR, so I may be up for a huge disappointment.

I'll get some good experience in, that's the main thing.
