Greetings Drivers! The penultimate round of the 2016 S2K Challenge is done and it was a beautiful weekend at Chuckwalla. Only 5 drivers made the trip out but that doesn’t mean the event was any less interesting.Street class had a solo entry Kevin Burke returning for his 2nd event with us and his first time out to Chuckwalla. Posting a 2:18.503 Kevin cinches first place in street.
SuperMod class had also a solo entry of Eric Desmore in his gorgeous supercharged S2000 making his first S2K challenge appearance, posting a best time of 2:12.062 in Black 3.
Finally in the hard-fought Mod class we had 3 drivers making it out. Fighting through shock issues Ted Park takes 3rd place with a 2:06.839 set in Red 3. Jeff Ringer, turning up with his mom in the car JUST IN TIME to drop a 2:02.175 in green 3 cinches 2nd place; with 1st going to Ryan Delgrosso with a 2:02.046 set in red 2.

This weekend was a new personal best for me at CVR

With a freshly rebuilt diff from Rockstar i managed a shockingly consistent weekend, usually managing to keep laps within tenths
