Greetings Drivers
Round 7, our Buttonwillow Wildcard round is over and it was a phenomenal day with nearly everyone finding PB time in that config and competition split by the narrowest of margins.
A total of 9 drivers made the trip out to compete amongst the 6! other competitions looking to hit this config making for a fast and memorable day.
Our solo stock driver Yukio Kishimoto again came out to show how capable these cars are straight off the showroom floor with a 2:16.025 set in the cool early weather of green2.
Street class showed a battle of veterans. In 3rd place was long time challenge driver Fernando Muga with a 2:14.351 in the cool air of green 2. 2nd was cinched by returning veteran Konstantin Nikiforov with a 2:13.574 in Green 3, with top honors going to Sohan Kota who made ground each session for a blistering wingless time of 2:10.563 in Orange 3.
Mod class again was the most populous with 5 drivers and a podium split of only 0.4 seconds!!. 5th place was Angela Konno with a 2:16.135. 4th went to Kevin Burke with a new personal best of 2:10.749. On the podium in 3rd place is Jason Woan with a 2:08.550 set in the cool air of green 2. 2nd place went to Ryan Delgrosso with a 2:08.522 set in the afternoon Green 3 session with top honors going to our resident hit-shoe Jeff Ringer driving Jasons car in Red 3 with a 2:08.138.
Supermod had one lone competitor Ali G with a blistering 2:07.622 set in the heat of Green 3.
Awesome driving everybody. Its this kind of competition that makes the S2K challenge so much fun.

We will see you all back at Buttonwillow on October 14th for a return to 13CW and some blistering times in cool weather!

Here's my 2:10.563 in Street class! Lap starts around 5:40. Pretty proud of it, but there's definitely some more time to be dropped if I could clean up my driving a bit!

Another super fun event. Love the config, wish we could do it more often. Great driving everyone.
