Thanks to my brother Kai Moon lending me his beautifully setup Mod Class car for the day, I was lucky enough to snatch 1st place on mod class.... good enough for me since it was my first track day in 3 years time and also driving someone else's car that I am not 100% familiar with.
If the 1st session times did count, then Kai definitely would've got 1st with his 1.57 done on old set of SUR4's, the only session he drove his S2k before starting to drive his new M3 he brought.
Hopefully with fresh set of RE71R we'll be aiming for street tire record on his full interior, soft top and stock motor car.
with the good weather and new tires, we are expecting to hit 53s.

Yep, what Ryan said is correct. RE71R definitely up there compared to SUR4.
I am told new SUR4G that Nexen brought out is far better than the outgoing SUR4 we used this past weekend.
Can't wait til December to see what this car can do in the hands of the owner with fresh tires.
54's will be definitely doable, and with no mistakes and every section executed perfectly, i'm sure it will run 53's in the current setup.
(mod class car with 0 point tire, super mod with RE71R)
