The RE71R/Rival-S are both about 0.5 sec faster than a RC1/NT01, and a few years back the RC1/NT01 were 1.5 points but normal (not cheater) street tires had gotten faster so we dropped the points on the L1 R-Comp to 0.5 to compensate.
There was also a strong value argument to be made for running a RC1/NT01 as the tire lasted considerably longer than a street tire and worked out much cheaper to run all season so we hoped to discourage the arms race of the RE71R (only lasts 3 days) which works out to about 270/day versus a RC1 which can be run for around 135/day. Cheaper to run = more drivers competing and having fun and thicker fields.
The RS4 doesnt seem considerably quicker than the VR1 or SUR4. The SUR4G we dont have any data on yet but anecdotally it seems fast its just too new to know. The RS-RR doesnt seem any faster than the rest of the non-cheatonium 200TW crowd either.

Last years rules:
If you competed in the last 3 years the event was free (Thanks Rockstar garage!!). Weight with and without driver and 2 dyno pulls. Entire spreadsheet of results was published after the event.
This year we are hoping to add food to the event and make it more of a season kick-off meet. Participation requirements are TBD but it was a great time for sure.

Somewhat related rules question...
Do the 0.25 points for Aftermarket ECU, ECU reflash or OEM ECU mismatch also include piggybacks like the E-Manage?
EDIT: also, do single adjustable coilovers count as 1 or 1.5 points? The 2017 rules show one way adjustable shocks as 1, but the calculator doesn't list single adjustables...
Thanks.
