Ok Drivers Auto Club Speedway is in the bag. Just 3 more to go in our 2018 season.
Jorge Trujillo again came out as our solo stock driver, but that didnt mean he rested on his laurels, dropping a smoking 2:02.802 on stock AP1 staggered wheels with 240 treadwear tires. Awesome driving Jorge!
Street was stolen by newcomer Michael Guyette in his S2K challenge debut event with a 2:00.855, with Tom Sera taking up 2nd with a 2:06.055 and newcomer Eric Walsh snagging 3rd with a 2:07.183.
Mod was where the excitement was for sure. Our resident ACS professional Cevin Burke (no kidding he gets paid to instruct here!) dominated with a 1:54.603 but the real surprise was Jacob Mitchell right on his heels with a 1:54.695!! Filling out the podium was Ryan Delgrosso with a 1:57.210. Setting his new personal best was Adan Calderon with a 2:00.268.
Supermod is where boost lives and ACS times show it. Chris Elders with his “everything bagel” engine (Its a high compression, stroker with a supercharger) came out and dropped a 1:49.439 to dominate the class for the day. Right on his heels was Dave “The mongoose” Lara with a 1:50.464. Filling out the podium was Brandon Camacho with a smoking 1:53.675 in the lone NA supermod car.

great event, had a ton of fun and it felt like home w/ all the s2k enthusiasts!!
definitely wish i didn't have to leave early but i ended up tearing up my rear passenger axle boot (outbound) when my rear brake duct broke free and started wrapping around the axle.
