255/45/17 on 7.5 inch rim?
What do you guys think? I've googled a lot and found mixed feelings on this topic. Some say they are running the setup, others say your better off running 245's. What do you guys think?
Thanks, Juiced.

i think that the minimum rim width possible is 8" for the 255 width tire. 9"is optimal and 10" is the max width for the 255 size.
so, 7.5? i wouldn't do it if i were you.

If you care about performance over looks, then I'd recomend the 245's. The 255's will allow the wheel to move around too much--it could even be dangerous on the track, not so much for autocross or cruising.
Depending on the tire, some 245's demand 8 inch or wider wheels so 255 is way too much for a 7.5 inch wheel.
