your experience seems very similar to mine, CCW at SOW as well.

although it is NOT so fun for me, as I almost T-Boned my friend after losing control of the rear-end.

The OP stated his tires. Personally, XP10F/8R is way overkill for narrow, budget tires. Brakes don't stop cars, tires do. If your brakes exceed the tire's friction potential, you'll be ABS'ing way too early/much. You could have the absolute best braking system in the world, but without tires to match, you've wasted a ton of money.

Matching pads to tires/weight is advised. We see the same thing with all the FI guys. They increase power a lot, but never address the necessary supporting mods. It is simply my opinion that 10's/8's are too much for the OP's current tire selection.

FWIW, I use 10F/8R on my car.
I have those pads ever since I started running the car on the track this year. 3 events with S02s, 2 events with RT615.

What I found is, the pads are decent enough for the S02s, but the fluid boils a lot faster when I ran with 615. (OEM S02 size, non staggered 615 size)

I don't even want to imagine my fluid situation if I go to R compounds.

Change the fluid and go have fun. You should think of matching F/R tires. If you go on the 29th ill be there, Its nice to see another S out there.
