Default "Affordable" FSB to use with R compounds?

I'm going to be using R-comps for the first time and I'm worried about lifting the rear wheels...

Here's what I'm running.

Tires:
Nitto Nt-01
225/45/17 F
255/40/17 R
Factory wheels

Alignment:
1.5 front Camber
1/8 toe out
6.5 Caster

2.5 rear Camber
1/8 toe in

I'm not expecting to be the fastest in autocross events, I just want a balanced car that can do well in autocross and some HPDE's while being my DD .

From what I've read here the Gendron's and Comptech's aren't as beneficial on track and the bars I've looked at don't seem to be recommended to be used with R-Comps (Swift, Cusco, Tanabe, Whitline etc..). Has anyone used these bars with R-comps and had success?

What front sway bar will keep my rear tires down in autocross without sacrificing track manners AND not break the bank? By that I mean < $300.

I'm open to all suggestions, including a big fat "No, it's not possible"

Thanks in advance!

I have a Gendron, but I have not done an HPDE yet. In June will be at little Talladega so I can tell you more. Another auto-xer in my region has the saner, but I like my gendron better. IMO spend a little extra and get the Gendron. My S is my DD, and I have the setting on medium stiff. I also have never used R compounds since I need to learn on street tires first. No problems with the stiffer setting. It makes cloverleafs a lot more fun!

No, it's not possible for < $300.

Next Monday I will be at a HPDE running 225/245 R888's w/ a Cusco 32mm front bar and AP2 rear bar, I'll let you know how it goes.

The only bar I have used that keeps my rear wheel down around turns is the Gendron, but I have only used it for one event. The real test will come at the Peru tour on concrete. One of my friends uses a modified Saner bar and still has wheel lift issues on rare occasions.

That would be much appreciated, thanks!

If you do go with a Saner bar, you won't like it on your daily driver. The thing is loud and clanky without modifications.

Has anybody tried using early AP1 or CR front sway bar? Would either one help MY05 AP2 on NT-01s. I'm also trying to get an affordable FSB, and those are about $100.00 which is pretty affordable in my book. Any opinions?
