I am very interested in autocrossing my car. Just need to know where to go.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I've been autocrossing with the Spokes club for over 6 years now. We are a very friendly bunch and we put on a very well organized event. Our events are usually held at Retama Park which is north of San Antonio! It's a longer drive than normal, but it's worth it. Our annual tech inspection is on Jan. 28th and the first event is on Feb. 4th.

I hope to see more S2000s out there.

where's the tech spec take place? and what occurs in it? I'm used to Solo II tech specs from back in Houston ages ago - they'd check out the cars in about five minutes, check mods, place you in the right class if you didn't know. But if this is pre-teched, then what happens with mods such as Spoon braces?

The tech inspection occurs at Punisher Automotive which is on Gray and Rutland. Coming from the Arboretum area, going 183 south, you exit Burnet, and go north (a left). Then take a right on Rutland, there is a Jack in the Box on that corner I believe. Go past Metric and then you'll hit Gray. Look for it around there.

The tech inspection is mainly for those wanting to become a member. You get a discount on the entry fee and you get to pre-register via the web for an event. You also get to do the tech inspection which means you don't have to get your car inspected at every event. This saves some time so you don't have to wake up as early in the morning.
