Thanks for your help. I went with the Dunlops in 205/225 and got a custom alignment. The car feels so much different in corners already I can't wait to bring the car back to the track. Unfortunately I just found out that I going to have to miss this months and next months events.

good to hear about the tires.
bad to hear about the events.
wait till the mold release wears off on the tires(they probably feel slightly greasy now) and you get those things to a good temperature and its fun,....expecting it to break but just keep gripping.

I've put a few hundred miles on the tires and they are really starting to grab. Between the new tires and the new alignment the car feels completely different. I've pushed the car to the point where the old tires would have failed and the new ones aren't even squealing. That being said, do the dunlops squeal much or at all if you are pushing them to the limit or they just break loose.
