I'm going to be using stock wheels for next season, but perhaps they would fit if I put a 5mm spacer in there
Stock allows you 1/4 inch plus or minus stock offset so that is a tad over 6 mm's which allow you up to 49 mm offset in the front and 59 mm offset rears.

I found looking at Rich's 275 V710's, and my own 265 V710 on an AP1, that there is an inch of tread on the insides of the tire never touches the ground which ultimately means only around 250 mm of tire width is used on the AP2's.
I'll double check the 245 rears on my 7.5 rears, but I think the wear was more even across the tires.

I know on my fronts I have the same problem with the 245's on a 6.5 rim, but it should be slightly better with your 7 inch wheels.

I checked Mark's front fender liners last year and I did find some signs of rubbing.
Ah, so that was you.

What you found wasn't enough to concern me, and it hasn't gotten any worse. I stopped tracking the S2000 soon after that NT, so it may have been tracking with 235-width tires that caused that, not the autocross tires. It may also be, of course, that you're just faster than I am, so that I'm saved by sucking.

Dunno what pressures you guys are running, however i can add this. My co driver and i did a full season in 2006 running 3-4 tours, 4 pros, nationals and a full season of local events. We started with 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rears in 2005 and did ok except for gearing. We went to 245/45/17 and 275/40/17 v710 in the beginning of 2006 and ran until we went to peru and the a6's finally became available, at that point we switched to 245/40/17 and 275/40/17 a6's. The 245/275 setup is the way to go regardless of kumho or hoosier. My co driver and i both trophied at nationals in 2006 and my co driver not finishing worst than 3rd at most national events. ALso with the 245/45/17 w only ever lost 1 front liner clip, never experienced any other rubbing that we could see. We were running 32frt 29rear pressures on the a6 and 30frt 27 rear on the v710 and i can guarantee you that we used every portion of the tire except a small portion of the inside of the rear tires.

When you say small, how much is it? And how much camber did you guys have in the rear?

1.5 degrees of camber and about 1/2" of unused tire on the inside
