Default ATE Super Blue banned from US distribution...

http://hooniverse.com/2013/08/16/bra...-distribution/

"It seems that the federal government has taken 15 years to figure out that Super Blue fluid is, in fact, blue in color. Evidently there is a stipulation that all brake fluids distributed in the US must be either clear or amber in color. This begs the question, why is that a law? "

If you live in the U.S. as I do you live in a country with incredibly stupid regulations..

Meanwhile with my JDM green brake fluid...

Completely agree. I wouldn't use it again after boiling it in one session at Laguna in my stock AP2 with 225 up front. Project µ G-four for me! Pedal feel is dramatically improved even when cold compared to super blue and it remains solid no matter how much I abuse the brakes. And apparently it turns clear after it has absorbed enough moisture from it's usual green (uh I mean amber..) color.

Try some fluid from ap racing or neo synthetics.

Wondering if there's heat stable dye you can add to brake fluid to color it.

But really, half a liter and it's pretty well flushed. Nice, small reservoir.

Silly. How much government money was used to discover the color blue?
