Auto-x and Tire sizes with/without swaybar

I have been auto-xing for 4 years now and am somewhat familiar with the sport. However the S2k is new to me. I am about to purchase auto-x tires for the car and was hoping you guys could provide some insight. I realize that some people are running 225s up front and 245s in the rear. This of course causes the car to be a little more tail happy. So in response to this, people add a bigger front sway bar. I have also heard that people are running a 225/265 combo without the sway bar, but this can cause the car to pickup the inside rear tire at time depending on surface. But this also might cause the rear tire to be pinched somewhat? What do you think about all of the questions? I originally thought it might be a good idea to run a 205/245 combo to reduce weight and lessen warm up times on an already short auto-x course. Just looking for some opinions here. Want to see what to majority thinks.

TIA

The catch is that there isn't a 205/245 combo to be had without making some significant compromises. The Kumho Voctoracers only come in 225/245/265 sizes, the Ecsta in 205/225 and Hossiers in 215/225/245 sizes. You could mix them up but that isn't a good idea since each end would respond differently. Hoosier also has road-race compound tires that you could use with a 205/245 sizing split but they won't warm up fast enough for best performance. It's also noteable that the stock S02 size difference is 1.5" wider in the rear while these various sizes only provide 0.5"-1" difference front to rear.

It depends on how competitive you want to be. The swaybar approach is best but you can live with 225/245 sizes and the stock bar if you are willing to give up ultimate cornering due to the willingness of the car to spin with those sizes. And the 265 rear raises the rear and reduces acceleration but you may not care.
