Default Blacktrax oil pan baffle

Really good! Below is the log of my oil pressure from last weekend race at Laguna Seca. I run Mobil 1 0W-40 oil.
No real drop in pressure. Consistent throughout. The big graph is lap 11, the bottom graph is the full session broken down by laps.

I trust Jei and Blacktrax's work. The moment I saw that BT had a baffled oil pan option available, I picked it up immediately (few years ago).

The weld quality shows proper penetration and the baffled portion itself, while looking rather basic, is spaced properly to allow oil to circulate in the proper places.

Sorry I missed this question. And sorry I didn't have one. But my friend did and it wasn't pretty. I didn't want to take a chance and have one installed when the car was being built.

I have had black trax for about 2-3 years now. I wonder how it compares to the new canton pan?

I had. Baffle plate welding into my stock pan before I bought my canton. I dont have documentation of anything. But any welded or bolted in Baffle plate into a stock pan cannot compete with the canton pan.

The can does what the weld/bolt in plates do plus:
Adds oil capacity
Adds sensor and oil return bungs
Adds a 4 sided trap door system
Incorporates a windage tray

Granted there uave been a few fitment issues, it is still a better pan than the weld/bolt in baffle options.

You certainly entitled to your opinion. However, I don't agree with it. I won't try to change your mind by arguing my points as I think it is useless.
