Broken Front Sway Bar--Options?Hi
Hi,
I have a 2007 S2000 that's prepared for STR autocrossing. Yesterday, the Ankeny front sway bar sheared into two pieces. I have no idea what caused the problem.
In any event, I cannot autocross without putting another FSB in there. I have a mid-stiffness Gendron/Small Fortune Racing FSB left over from years ago (assuming I have all the parts), which may (or may not) fit without interfering with the double-adjustable Penskes I have in there now.
Is this a viable option short term (I do not know the spring rates, although I hope to know them soon)?
Is there a better long-term option for a FSB for an STR S2000?
Thanks.
Mark

This seems to be the new go to bar.

No personal experience, but numerous auto-x users seems to speak highly of it.

Hi Mark. I have an old Whiteline bar collecting dust in my garage. It's ~150% of stock AP1 stiffness (non adjustable). You are welcome to use it if you want to try it out or find yourself in need of an immediate solution.
I'm in Woodinville. You and I have met at a distant past track or autocross event, but I can't remember when or where.

I remember you, Michael; you drove a black S2000 at track days back then.
I appreciate the offer, but the Gendron bar went in fine, and I'm going to try it out while I look into the Karcepts bar.
Thanks again.
