I'm on stock tires and my07 does have rear bias but is hindered by abs. I run 12/8 just so abs isn't always on in the rear under heavy braking zones.

I ran new rear pads in the rear with 8's up front at my first track day and they were gone on the 5th session.

Hard to beat this community!

How do you like the 12/8 combo? I might order 12's myself because I'm running 255 RE01R upfront. After a massive spin at streets (ask Mark), which cost me a set of tires, I think I want to bring the bias forward a bit.

The OEMs were completely destroyed and the pistons put deep grooves into the rotors.
WOW!! You went through the friction material, backing plate and then worked on the pistons in two sessions? Damn!!

btw you can use a 3/8 ratchet to turn the piston back in if you don't have the tool or forget to bring it. Future info.

I use a piston retractor tool for the front, and a 14mm open end to turn the piston back in place in the rear.

I like it but I'm going to try different pads for my next track day. I'm trying to sort out a brake fluid issue at t-hill.

Yup...not the best trackday I've ever had. Hopefully many people will read this thread and learn from my lesson.

I used to use the 3/8" to do my rears, but after so many pads changes, the metal corners facing the center of the piston warped and I couldn't use it anymore. That's when I went to Autozone and bought this for ~$7,

^ How can we expect to use that tool if it can't even fit in the car!? The tool has to be at least ... three times as small.
