Centric Rotors?
Truth be told, OEM are roughly equivalent to HP+ or Stoptech Street Performance in bite and heat capacity. For a consumable like pads, unless you are at a level that they can no longer tolerate the heat, stick with whatever is cheapest and still works. That's more money to actually spend on seat time.
That's why I use the Stoptech pads - they're $70-something for all 4 corners and tolerate up to 1300f, compared to almost $200 for HP+ or $200+ for something like Ferodo DS2500 or Project Mu HC+800, which all operate in roughly the same temp range.

Thanks guys! I am currently sourcing a crv or forester for a daily. Then the s2k will become just a track and weekend car, BBK will defiantly be down the line probably next year. Before I do anything like that I want to improve driver mod and get to a point where my time is consistent. I will just shoot for 6 rotors. 2 spares just in case. If I keep extra pads do you think I should keep 2 or 4 extra?
Centric premiums for the last three track days. Great budget rotor. Looking for the right budget pad. I can melt a set of stockers in a day. On ebc yellows, and they are good to the last session, then they go down hill. I think I will try stop tech, lots of people seem to like them.

They don't squeal at all, but can require some warm-up when it's cold out, and dust more than most other street pads I've used. Compared to HP+ though, the track wear rate is equal at less than half the cost, so I deal with having gunmetal colored wheels.

they last that long huh? what track do you normally run on? Is it heavy on the braking? At 70$ for all 4 corners that's a steal!

Summit point is my home track, but I run NJMP and VIR with some regularity as well. I'd say VIR is the only one that's super hard on brakes, but life and fade does depend on ambient temps and session length as well.
In 25 minute sessions with NASA in 75 degree weather 2 years ago I was basically fade free. The last 5 minutes in sessions 3&4 of the day they can start to push their envelope some though. Depending on how hot they get, they'll start to go away really quickly. I had one event where they only lasted 3 days (fronts), but it was 4x 30 minute sessions a day with 105 degree ambient temps.
