Default Check your front lower compliance bushing

So I bought my 2 nd s with 135k on the clock. I've tracked it a few times and the front vibrates under braking and steering feels somewhat loose and numb

A few weeks ago I check the front suspension and the only play I noticed was at the bushing and wasn't that bad. I thought I'll chance that and the font lower at the same time since its out.

Many people said there bolt was seized but I guess in California we are lucky. Mine came out and easy to reuse. Just put some anti seize in case

Pressed out he compliance bushing and they are ripped partially but can easily be moved by my fingers. Pressed in my new power flex and good to go

The front lowers were still super tight and I couldn't figure out a easy way to get it out. Looks like honda made it easy to press in but not easy at all to remove

I kept the stock fronts for now

First impression is that what a big difference. Tight and responsive once again. You need an alignment after unless you mark the bolts but I think it won't be perfect so do it right

I have the bolts if anyone needs them

I had to replace mine a few years ago. They were ripped pretty bad. Thanks for the post and pics.

This is becoming more and more common as our cars get older. I want to do a spherical bearing when the time comes.

The harbor freight bearing R and R set is like $80 and has a lot of different sizes. I've never used it for an s2k compliance bushing though.

It's quite a big socket. I would say like 50. It was easier for me to use a pipe cap from Home Depot. It does come out relatively easy compared to a wheel bearing

I keep meaning to do a writeup on the Monoballs from Wicked Tuning I got but have not had a chance.
I would recommend everyone that has a AP1 change all the bushings as I am sure they are all softened up or even torn.
Here are a few pics of mine.
