6-10k track events...and street...
I used Yokohama A032r's that way. I got about 5k out of the rears and 10k out of the fronts combined track and street (about 6 track days in that timeframe).

That was pushing them beyond their useful life though, the last track day or two on them were clearly slower and less controlled when the tires were heat cycled to death.

Still, I haven't yet been willing to get set up with track tires and a trailer, etc. That's probably coming soon though.

For that many track events, they will be bald at some point regardless of which tire, and will be risky on the street (unless you have another car and only drive this in the dry). Get dedicated track tires.
Yeah, me and my wife have 3 cars. So if need be toward the end of life, I can drive something different.

Bridgestone RE-01R. I have these tires, and they are AMAZING. I have put about 12K miles on them, 5 track days, and they are still above the wear bars.

Wet weather they give me a lot of confidence. Even in downpours, they felt like Toyo T1S, always famous for its wet weather performance.

Dry, the grip is the same, if not better than the Azenis.

They are not as heat sensitive as the Azenis. They only got greasy on my once, and that was at the end of a 30 min. session when I was pushing the car hard (chasing one of my buddies).

Damn straight i can vouch for them. The nookies are by far the best bang for your buck. There is no tire you can get that is as cheap as the nookies and offers the same level of performance .

IMO, spending 700+ bucks on a set of street tires is unacceptable unless you are doing some sort of competitive event in which you are limited to only street tires. The nookies can be had for less than 400 for a complete set and they take alot of abuse too.

I have Eagle F-1 GS-D3, feel good
Very sticky but with a high tread wear rating and rated the best rain summer only tire! Not to mention the best overall summer only tire as rated by car and driver.
