I have the Duralast Gold C Max pads on my car for street use for about 6 years. Parts DGC829 and DGC537. I'm not sure they even make them anymore and they are probably not as extreme as the GT pads.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pads and like them better that the OEM pads (way less dust / no squeal). Have never had a problem with their performance.
I consider myself a momentum driver. I run Carbotech XP-8s on track, but I wouldn't hesitate using the C Max pads in a pinch.
One of these days when they're a bit worn out, I want to run them at the Glen for a couple of sessions, and then go downtown at lunch time and trade them in for new pads under the lifetime guarantee.

Unless someone gives me a set of those GT pads, I probably wont run them just because the track day pads are so cheap from PowerStop. That's the beauty of this platform....so many people track the cars and there is YEARS of experience everywhere! I'm going to make my life easier and just stick with what I know will work.
